Site Superintendent

Location: On-site
Position Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction operations in collaboration with the Project Manager.

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and trade contracts.

  • Oversee quality control to ensure materials and workmanship meet project standards.

  • Schedule and coordinate trades, suppliers, materials, equipment, and labour to maintain project timelines.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company safety policies.

  • Implement and enforce LVS’s Safety Program and develop site-specific safety plans as required.

  • Attend weekly site meetings and provide regular progress updates.

  • Review and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and project reports.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Construction Management or journeyperson certification in a related trade is considered an asset.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of Canadian experience in a construction supervisory role.

  • Strong working knowledge of Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.

  • Physically capable of working in an active construction environment.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
