Job Description:
Coordinate, assign and review the work of lodge and other accommodation services clerks, reservation clerks and other travel and accommodations workers that deal with patrons
Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
Adjust reservation rates based on availability
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Review reservation quotes prior to sending to patrons
Requisition supplies and materials as well as prepare order for submission and consideration
Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
May perform the same duties as workers supervised as well as things that need to be completed to ensure guests have the best experience possible.
Job Requirements:
Previous front desk experience at a resort is an asset
Comfortable answering phones, emails and any other correspondence needing a reply
Work well independently and part of a team
Amazing customer service ability
Strong retention of information is an asset to remember guest preferences
Computer skills are an asset
Previous experience taking payments through cash or card is an asset
Willing to work all days of the week including holidays
Able to start work early and work late if required
Excellent hygiene and presentable is required on shift
