Rodono Industries is an agricultural equipment manufacturing business located near Clive, in Central Alberta. Founded in 1986, we build agricultural equipment to correct or enhance shortcomings of OEM equipment. Today, these include the Xtend series of Retracting Swing Augers, Straw Choppers, PTO Speed Reducer Gearboxes.
Our primary customers are the Ag manufacturers, Ag machinery dealers and farmers across Western Canada. Our sales regions are Canada, Australia, and the USA. Our facility includes machining, CNC machining, laser cutting, steel bending, welding, and powder coating. We also provide in-house services that include custom machining, fabricating, product design, chopper balancing and hydraulic repair.
Job Purpose
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be primarily responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of Rodono Industries. They will be in charge of handling all inbound calls, determining if the call is a parts or service call, directing other calls to appropriate department and create orders for parts. Once parts orders are complete the customer service rep. will find the parts, pack and ship them ensuring order, payment and shipping details are correct. The CSR is also responsible for recognizing and assessing consumer needs to achieve customer satisfaction.
This role is vital in ensuring that our customers receive accurate and efficient assistance regarding product information, questions, parts and any emerging problems they might encounter.
Our goal is to provide exceptional service, reply quickly to inquiries, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal Customer Service Representative is eager to assist customers. When communicating, they are patient, empathic, and enthusiastic. They are, by nature, problem-solvers. They can troubleshoot and will conduct research if they lack sufficient information to answer consumer concerns or resolve problems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop in-depth knowledge about Rodono Industries’ products and services
Answer the phone calls, text messages and emails to parts and assist the customer with sales orders and parts orders or direct to the appropriate department for best service.
Follow-up with customer inquiries regarding order status or expected delivery time
If parts are required, determine proper parts and create the order
Package and arrange shipping for parts and finished goods
Receive shipments in ERP system and put received goods away in their proper location
Continuously improve parts storage and organization
Assist in assembly functions when time allows
Assist in the coordination of marketing activities and inside sales opportunities
Inform customers about additional products or services that could meet their needs
Follow all communication processes, policies, and guidelines
Go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and offer competent customer service

Working Conditions
40 work hours per week
Overtime may be required in busiest months
Ergonomics: a variety of activities- sitting, exposure to computer screens, standing and walking
Must be able to easily lift 30-50 lb
Required to wear personal protective equipment including CSA approved footwear, ear plugs and safety glasses

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Post-Secondary education that improved your administrative or service skills
Capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy, a calm and composed demeanour in high-pressure situations with attention to details
Experience with managing a variety of priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience using ERP systems or order management systems
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
