Restaurant supervisor

Job Description:

Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food as well as clean
Prepare food order summaries for guests according to requests as per customers needs
Establish work schedules and ensure procedures are followed
Supervise a department as the head when management is away as needed
Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage for first in first out
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures to ensure standards are met
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and guests have a great experience
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development through training
Deal with customer complaints and issues, if cant be resolved escalate to management
Other duties that are required

Job Requirements:

1 year of experience as a supervisor or several years working in restaurants
Punctual
Attention to detail
Great customer service
Can lead a team and motivate
Work independent and as part of the team
Honest and transparent in communications
Work splits, evenings, weekends mornings and holidays when required
