Food And Beverage Server

Job Description:

Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
Sort and place cutlery and glassware on tables ensuring strong presentation
Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
Provide guests and exceptional experience and be knowledgeable of the menu as well as upsell appetizers, drinks and deserts
Recommend wines that complement patrons' meals
Answer phones and take food orders as required
Advise supervisor or manager of issues or guest complaints to be resolved
Serve food and beverages as well as take to rooms as required
Present bill to patrons and accept payment with cash or card
Complete cash out at end of shift
Follow daily to do list at the start and end of each shift
Other duties as required

Job Requirements:

Experience working in a resort as a server is an asset
Punctual
Attention to detail
Amazing customer service ability
Strong math skills
Able to carry a tray full of food and drinks which is heavy is an asset
Clean and organized
Able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Excellent personal hygiene
Be able to walk up to 20,000 steps per day
Knowledge in spirits and wine is an asset
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
