Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials required

Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolds, knowledge of rigging and hoisting equipment.

Installing glass panes following the installation manual procedures.

Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of building

Fabricate aluminium frames for glass installation
Install, fit, fabricate and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings in collaboration with a glazing system

Install field unit or glass panels into an aluminium curtain wall system or aluminium curtain wall facade

Replace glass in various products

Prepare and install skylights in residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects

Repair and service residential windows, commercial aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant (cross out)

Other duties that apply

Five or more years of experience as a Glazier
Solid understanding of Glass installation
Employee works independently on general assignments
Ability to work safely and within safety guidelines
Rigging certification is preferred
Manlift Certification is required
