Job Description:
We are looking for an Environmental Project Manager with hands-on experience in BC contaminated sites or BC reclamation within environmental consulting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing projects related to groundwater monitoring, Phase 2 assessments, and Spill Response, with a focus on upstream oil and gas projects. Experience with urban contaminated sites and Phase 1 reports, especially in the Vancouver area, is also valuable. Familiarity with the environmental regulations in British Columbia is essential for success in this role.

Administer programs related to scientific fields
Advise senior executives on environmental issues related to the company’s activities
Analyze samples of gases and vapors
Conduct research
Document investigations and conclusions/recommendations
Monitor budgets allocated to environmental programs
Monitor environmental non-compliance and required corrective actions
Report information to supervisor
Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
Client communication.
Prepare work plans and cost estimates.
Manage environmental field work programs.
Mentor and train staff; ensure work is done safely and correctly.
Manage, review and sign-off on technical reports.
Liaise with regulators, contractors and other third parties.
Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
Maintain billable targets as set by CEO / COO.
Undertake occasional travel to Calgary, Fort St. John or other destinations as needed.
Provide excellent levels of service to our internal and external clients.
Perform additional tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:
10+ years of relevant contaminated sites/reclamation/natural sciences experience in environmental consulting in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience.
Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline.
Possesses a recognized accredited professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag. etc.) recognized in BC, or the ability to acquire one.
Experience in contaminated sites on urban sites, with extensive knowledge of the various provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines.
Experience in managing technically complex projects, working with a dynamic team, and overseeing cost controls.
