Concrete Form Setter

We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Form Setter to join our construction team in Saskatchewan. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience working with concrete formwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, align, and dismantle concrete forms for various structures

  • Read layouts and specifications to accurately build forms to required dimensions and grades

  • Perform basic grade calculations and measurements as needed on-site

  • Place and compact fill material using tampers or compactors to achieve required elevations and specifications

  • Assist with concrete preparation and related site tasks

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition

  • Remove debris and ensure work sites remain safe and efficient

  • Follow all company safety procedures, site rules, and PPE requirements

  • Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent

Job requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience setting concrete forms (wood or steel)

  • Previous carpentry experience considered an asset

  • Experience working with concrete materials and finishing processes considered an asset

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

  • Ability to read measurements, work from grades, and follow specifications

  • Strong understanding of safe work practices in a construction environment

  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a crew
